John Gillan Photography was founded in Miami, Florida over 25 years ago. The south Florida based photography business emerged with a studio in the south Miami area. As south Florida grew so did the business and the need to expand photography services to the architectural and interior design community. For many years, John Gillan Photography produced and created award winning architectural and interior photographs for the building trade, developers, construction companies, architects and interior designers.
About twelve years later the studio moved to a more central location in Davie, Florida. This location was convenient for clients all over south Florida from the Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale and Miami areas. Today, the south Florida studio is still conveniently located in Davie, Florida near Weston, Sunrise, Plantation and Fort Lauderdale.
After an impressive career of location and architectural photography, John Gillan expanded his services and began photographing people and the fine portrait. Many of his personal projects, documentary in nature, are based on people and portraits as is the work he created early on in his career.
Gillan's portrait studio is equipped with a unique and abundant selection of creative and versatile backgrounds. There is no need to go to an outdoor location, combat the weather, the heat and the mosquitoes!
